The Truman School had once been known as the Trapwick Academy named after the man who had owned it the man's name was Vincent Z. Trapwick. He was a rich and wealthy Rhode Island banker who moved to southwest Florida and gotten even richer Vincent didn't wat his three kids going to a public school with any other kid so he made Trapwick academy.You would have to have the same religion and skin colour to go to the school so when he died he left 200,000 thousand dollars to the school which was a good and generous amount but wasn't enough to keep it running. so the board allowed different skin color and religions join and now the school is on it's feet and good shape.
